When should we rent/buy his tux?

Hi Jazz! If you are planning to order a custom-ordered tuxedo, I would highly reccomend going in as soon as possible! This leaves time for alterations and any other adjustments you may need to make! Also, if you are planning to rent a green tuxedo, I would call and make sure they're available for rental as soon as possible as well! What color are you planning to have the groomsmen wear?

We're renting ours online from Jim's Formal Wear and they said the last day to place the order is 4 weeks out- so I think it would just depend on where you're going to get them

We got DH's two weeks before, but we just went to a department store. It's a beautiful blue suit, and he's gonna get a lot of use out of it.

Well we are 46 days out and he just got fitted on Sunday. Our date is November 4th and she said as long as all the guys have gone in by October 1st it will be fine. We went to mens wearhouse. We did not get pants because the guys are wearing jeans so I'm not sure if that changes things any.

I'm curious about this as well! I'm thinking we might go to the store soon just to get a feel for things, and then go when we're closer and actually order it. We're about 7 months out right now.

FH feels like it's too soon haha. I just wanted some clarification if it actually is. He's also in school so I have more time to think about wedding details than he does, lol. I've started looking around online! I think he is leaning more towards blue. I think we'll just have the groomsmen wear that color suspenders and pants but no jacket. Still trying to hash out that detail as well!

Awesome!! Thanks! I actually remember a bridal shop in town mentioning that they rent out suits/tuxes through the Jim's in the town over. I'll look into them because I totally forgot!

Love that color!! FH mentioned possibly buying it but I think it ends up depending on the color.

Yes! That's what I'm thinking. To find out what they typically have available and whatnot. It's so much for chill with guys! I hear of girls having to order their dresses like 6 months out!!

I dont think it would hurt for you to go into a store and pick the style and colors you want. I am not getting married until the end of March next year and the FH and I are going to go in shortly and pick out what we want. They can put it on file and give you a deadline of when the groomsmen and others need to come in and be fitted.

I think that will look really nice! Can't wait to see how it looks all together!
