What shape wear are you wearing under your mermaid gown?

The title explains it all. I have a perky chest so support right there isn't a concern, but tummy control and flare at the bottle to make the dress pop would be nice. What are your suggestions?

I have a fit and flare.. I'm just wearing some spanx to hold my stomach in a bit and smooth out my shape. I wasn't looking for a huge poof..so I'm skipping any of the slips that you can buy to add more volume at the bottom. But if you want more poof look for a mermaid slip and wear a longline bra that'll suck you in.

I got the mermaid slip, it really helps the bottom flare out and away from my feet. I'm either wearing a bustier or having cups sewn in to the bust.

I got a mermaid slip for my fit and flare dress. It was super cheap on amazon but ended up being perfect.
