What items did you use for your sendoff?

Our venue is SUPER strict regarding what we can/cannot use for our sendoff. I had my heart set on a sparkler exit, but because the place is in a park, that's not allowed. Same goes for glitter, and flower petals have to be real, so i'm not sure how expensive that can get. What can I use that will look really good in pictures, and what did you all use?

We did glow sticks because we couldn't use sparklers either.

They were great, a big hit. People started dancing with them and they showed up perfectly for the send off. No one decorated our car and everyone ended up throwing a bunch of them in our car anywhere and everywhere they could. It was awesome.

We got two big party packs of glow sticks from Party City for about $30.

We didn't have a send-off! We sent our guests back to the hotel on the shuttle and joined them at the hotel bar for the after party

We didn't do one either. We had an after party and ended up being the last ones there pretty much. I liked it better. I suppose send offs make for cute pictures but it just wasn't our style.

Hi! They probably won't allow you to do this because they sound strict, as you said, but we're doing chinese lanterns. The wedding is going to be at night, and I think it'll look gorgeous. Our church is right next to our town's lake, and on top of a hill almost, so we're going to send them off over the lake.

We are also planning on using glow sticks, based on pictures I have seen you can still get a really cool picture with the glowsticks-- plus its a bit different than the usual sparklers.

We are planning on setting some out for the dance floor early on in the night and then keeping some in the back for the exit. Plus you can print up some really cute signs "You have made our future bright, now do the same for tonight", "let love glow", "light the way for the new MR & MRS"
