What does your venue look like??

Kathryn, on July 19, 2011 at 7:15 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 40

My venue is called the Briarhurst Manor, it was built in the 1800's and used to be a home. It is now a fine dining restaurant and wedding venue located in Manitou Springs Colorado at the base of Pikes Peak Mountain!

My venue is in Neenah,WI at a hotel with cobblestone paths, french doors&chandeliers. GORGEOUS! They don't have any pics of the inside really online but heres a pic of the outside where our ceremony will be!

BTW, a lot of my family lives in Colorado, that is a beautiful area! My grandma wanted to own land in Colorado before they moved to Wisconsin, so as a joke my grandpa bought one square foot of land on Pike's Peak. Please don't step on our land! HAHA. Smiley smile

We got married at The Grove, in Reno. I loved the beautiful architecture. We got married in front of the fireplace and had the reception in the same room.

Thank you Kathryn! I had another venue booked and then I got an advertisement in the mail for that place- it was crazy because we had an appointment to go sign the contract and pay the non-refundable deposit that weekend!!! I'm so happy we got the advertisement for this place when we did- we saw it- it was everything we wanted and we got SOOO Much more for about $20-30 less per person!!!!

We are getting married at the Sax Hotel in Chicago, which used to be the old House of Blues hotel. It's a boutique hotel and it's so uniquely decorated that FH and I couldn't find another place to compare! Plus, we get the entire 4th floor to ourselves for our day, so guests will get off on the 4th floor and already be at the party Smiley winking

We are getting married at Jump of Rock, laurel Park NC

The reception looks like it will be The Cedars in Historic Downtown Hendersonville.

Not the venue we wanted, but all we could afford.
