Start now! I'm assuming you mean months, not maths. A lot of vendors book over a year in advance, so you'll want to get going to have as many choices as possible. Set your budget, draft a preliminary guest list, and find a venue. That's how to start.

The first thing we did was come up with a couple dates, and then saw if our vendors we wanted would be free on either of the days. When we got our ceremony and reception site picked out, we noted how many it would fit and did a guest list from there. After that I started following the timelines.

Date twin! I've already started. We have our venue, we're looking into caterers, and photographers. I've started a few DIY projects already so I have time to perfect them. I also just picked out my dress.

Well, I'd start with addition and subtraction, then move to division and multiplication. From there I'd go on to algebra, trig and geometry. That's just a start.

Math was never my strength....

Definitely start now with budget and guest list... I have 19 maths to go and I'm way ahead of you with a venue and everything else booked.

I started at like 18 maths but I'm a type A obsessive planner.

You should start now. Time will go much faster than anticipated.

Start now that way you have less to do later. Our wedding is 10-17 and I have almost everything picked out decor and venue wise. So I have exact numbers and pricing already for most things which makes our budget easier to stick to! Just don't go purchasing anything just yet incase things change. But there's no harm in looking at dates, venues and a rough guest list

Budget, guest list (to figure out max number of people-be sure to include yourselves), venue. A lot of venues book 2 years out.

Also, you don't have a date unless you have a venue.

Book the venue sister. Everything else goes off of that.

Definitely start now, you would be surprised how quickly places book and how fast time goes! I've been engaged 10 months and still have 7 until the wedding but time has flown by!

It can never hurt to get a jump on things.
