Wedding Party- Junior Bridesmaids/groomsmen

Hi everyone! I have 1 MOH and 1 Bridesmaid and 2 junior bridesmaids. My FH has 2 Best men and 2 groomsmen. Would it be weird to have my 2 junior bridesmaids (12 years old & 8 years old) walk down the isle next to my FH's 2 groomsmen (27 & 30 years old)? I feel like its weird... but I don't know how else to set it up for the procession. Suggestions please!!

One option is to have the GM standing at the altar with the groom. The GM do not walk down the aisle in the processional.

An 8-year-old is way too young to be a junior bridesmaid. Put a basket in her hand and make her a flower girl. And yes, I do think it looks weird to see grown men accompanying two girls down the aisle for similar roles.

That's a good idea. Would they just line up before the ceremony starts? Would the best men still walk down the isle with my MOH and bridesmaid?

Most weddings I’ve been in the men walk in first alone, then the bridesmaids walk alone. Then I’d have the girls walk together, then you. However, typically the GM walk out with the bridesmaids but I guess they could walk out alone?

It depends on the relation. If they happen to be the girl's dads, uncles, brothers, etc., it would be super cute. But based on the ages you gave I'm thinking this isn't the case. As strangers, it would be uncomfortable. I would have your MOH and two best men walk together, then your bridesmaid and two groomsmen, followed by the two girls together.

Everyone can walk down the *aisle* individually, they don't have to walk in pairs. I do think it's weird for a little girl to walk with a grown man.

I also think 8 years old is entirely too young to be a Jr. Bridesmaid, but regardless of what title you give her I would not have her walk down the aisle with a grown man.
