I heard about this. The guy who did this is such an asshole.

Wow. I'd be pissed...

I couldn't imagine even being a guest at that wedding. I would feel sooooo uncomfortable

I'd be so angry and frankly as "Jane", I would be embarrassed.

"John stopped mid-ceremony to propose..." What!?!

I'm so angry just reading this. I feel so bad for this couple!

I would kick them out. You don't do that in the middle of someone's ceremony. Sooo rude!

How do you even have the stones to propose in the middle of a ceremony YOU ARE PERFORMING??? Who does that???

Yep it does. One of our groomsmen and his children ruined our reception. Matt has not spoken to him since and has no plans to. There is absolutely NO reason he couldn't have waited til the day after to propose. He knew what he was doing and cared so little about their day being about them he had to steal the day from them.

I think I would be double checking to make sure the legal part of the ceremony actually took place. What a jerk! I remember reading this but not the advice/answer.

This breaks my heart for the couple hosting the wedding. I would be so upset.

I'm sorry, I'm a pretty even-keel person, but damn that's messed up. I'd be upset with your videographers as well for focusing on the best man and his gal instead. That was a dick move. Is he a narcissist? To do that while officiating is just selfish. I'm floored...just floored.

I read that and it just seemed like a plot to a life time movie.

I would have said something mid ceremony and told him to back the fuck up.
