I think ANY bride that wants to wear a veil should...regardless of whether or not its your first wedding. Personally, I think it completes the bridal look and looks like its lacking or incomplete without it

Randy from say yes to the dress said it best: "without the veil you're just a woman in a white dress, with the veil you're a bride"

I'm a first time bride and not wearing one. I'm sure I'll still feel and look like a bride. I say, wear one if you WANT to, no matter which wedding this is for you

I wasn't going to wear a veil, but my mom and SIL got me to change my mind. I will be wearing my SILs veil for my ceremony, but I will not be putting it back on for the reception the next week.

I don't think it matters what number wedding it is... if you want to wear one, go for it.

I didn't wear one for my first wedding, and I'm not planning on wearing one this time either. They just seem annoying.

I'm over 40 and a first time bride. I'm wearing a veil (not sure if it will be fingertip or cathedral) but have told by several women I shouldn't because of my age. Still wearing one.

I love my veil... I think what made it for me, was the fact that you don't get to wear one for just anything, its something special. Smiley smile I think its just all part of the excitement!

My mom got me one because she knows my fiance wanted me to wear one I honestly think they are ugly and awkward so I have decided to bring it with me to my hair appointment the day of and if I don't hate it I will leave it in for the ceremony.

I second what KaylaRae said. and plus, your wedding day is the only day in your life you get to wear a veil so go for it! (:
