Too much money...?

So, I have two checking accounts and a savings account. I use Mint.com to keep them all straight. I wrote a check against my checking account in New Jersey to deposit it into my checking account in Virginia. No big whoop, except that now the money has been deposited in my account in Virginia without being withdrawn from the NJ account. Obviously, I am not stupid enough to realize that the money isn't there. It's just giving me a false sense of security. I'm hoping it all corrects itself tomorrow. I hate when stuff like this happens. I want to be able to spend the extra, damn it! I hate banks. They are forcing me to have self control. It's not my best asset.

LOL....you might try www.saveup.com too. I love it; it gives you credit for paying things off, they have sweepstakes and contests, and I really like their advice too.

Haha, yeah I hate when that happens sometimes with the delays in processing. I also use Mint, but I have 18 chequing accounts, 4 savings accounts, plus my FH and mine joint chequing/savings. And a wedding account. So. I am just super anal about keeping track of my dough. lol

18 checking accounts???

I have 1 checking account, 2 savings accounts, and an investment account with Vanguard. I keep too much in checking though, need to buy some more mutual funds. We don't have any joint accounts.
