To belt or not to belt

WWYD? There are some seams on either side. I found a belt that would attach with a notable center medallion which I love but the ends of the belt would just cross the side seams....thoughts?

Have you tried it on with a belt? Once I tried a belt on with my dress I felt like it completed it and without it it would look like something was missing.. Depends on what you like and the look you're going for though

Without seeing it on you, I would definitely say yes to the belt. The dress looks a bit plain without it. And I am a fan of a little sparkle.

Just from looking, I think the belt would look great on the dress, but I agree with PP, it would be better to see the options on you!

Thanks ladies-because the belt is not actually attached to any ribbon I need help with the picture thing (1 person to hold up, 1 person to take picture etc) so that won't be for a couple weeks. I'm glad to hear more yes than no on the belt . I do like it, but I'm very concerned with how it sits on the side seams....where it hits may be a deal killer.

So finally got a chance to have someone help me with pictures of belts on the dress....the first belt I like the best, just struggling on how it hits the side seams verses belt 2 that seems to cover up more but emphasis a larger waist. I attached photo 1 & 2 which are the same belt (the first one) What are your thoughts?
