Yea, that was my initial thought. $500 seems really, really cheap for a videographer.

@ Noei, I agree, he really did a horrible job. You'd think even paying $500, that maybe the quality would be poor, but he'd at least capture something meaningful in the wedding. This guy totally sucks

I know in my area videographers range from 700-2000 bucks depending on who you get (average is about 700-1400) so I thought $500 was really cheap... unless they live in a cheap area, I never heard of such...

That stinks! like said before yes, 500 is dirt cheap for this BUT even if he was just mr joe from the street you would think he could at least tilt the camera so there isnt 90% grass, or stand in a place that isnt backs. any moron can see what they are getting.

That sucks for them! I could have done a better job than that & I'm not in the field. But, $500 for a wedding video? Didn't some sort of alarm bells go off when they booked him?

WOW!! That was horrible. My dad gets better stuff with his camcorder than that! Well now his reputation is ruined. And the whole he was filming someone else's wedding?? Hmm.. that is a big no no.. if you double book, have someone else fill in!
