Im kinda thinking I'll get the top altered into a sweetheart style I'd just need the lace overlay sewn down to the top and cut as far as i can tell and there were a couple loose threads and I'll separate the waist with a satin ribbon in our colors

View Quoted Comment I found my dress on ebay for 30, it was over 500 almost 600 at davids bridal with shipping i paid less than 100 dollars!!! And it need only a couple minor alterations and cleaned. The alterations i am going to do myself. This is my dress!

Yeah it will be 50 dollars to have it cleaned, i thought abt making it sweethesrt but decided against it. So w the clesning my dress total is around 150, still cheaper than buying new from db

Yep, cant beat a good deal. I love bargain shopping. I had been to db and tried the same dress on so knew how it fit and what style, but cldnt see spending that much on a dress i would wear one time. My FSIL and i were discussing it and i an even thinking abt removing the tulle under it Nd adding elastic to it so i can remove that after the wedding. We are reco structing her dress and the two of us are getting married a week apart it is pretty exciting!!!
