We finally set a final date! We're having a super initiate ceremony (35 people) & my bridesmaids and myself are headed to Atlanta Saturday for me to start browsing dresses.

We're going to Ivory Bridal, a place that specializes in plus size dresses! Any tips for the beginning of dress browsing?

Anything would help?! Especially for a plus size bride!

Congratulations! Don't be afraid to try on something that isn't your style. You might surprise yourself with how well you rock it.

Definitely keep an open mind and try on different silhouettes and dress materials. It can be difficult to know what feels and looks good until you actually see it on you. There are a number of brides on here who ended up with a different dress silhouette than they initially envisioned, including myself. I thought I wanted a-line, and I ended up loving a mermaid. I started off not wanting to try on any mermaid type dresses.
