Our pictures finally came back and I am in love! This is probably going to get pic heavy, but Here's a quick re-cap from the day:
The Bad: I let my mom talk me out of a first look, and I really wish I hadn't. It made the photography timeline a lot more stressful, as we had to take our portraits while our guests were standing around eating dinner.
The Good: We have the greatest friends and family! We only had about half of the original guest list rsvp and come to the wedding and it wound up being the perfect amount of people to be able to say hi to everyone and dance and have fun. The air was electric with all the love and excitement.
Advice: really plan ahead for what is involved in base level hosting, and then find your splurges and places to insert your personality from there! We provided craft beers and wines because DH is a beer snob, and had a mac and cheese food truck because MAC AND CHEESE.
