St Lucia anyone???

My FH and I went for our engagement-moon and it was fun in the resort. We took a boat excursion for that included a speed boat tour of the island and then we got crammed into musty vans with a bunch of people to go see the sulfer springs and a tiny waterfall. It included lunch at a local restaurant that was jus ok. Of course you get offered weed and drugs the whole time you’re away from the resort. The resort was amazing though. We stayed at the Royalton! The rooms were super clean because it’s brand new and we had our own swim out pool! They had a bunch of activities to do, food was good but we wanted more local island food like fish and tropical fruit. They made the restaurants too “American”. Best restaurant was the Asian one. The beach was ok. I would suggest renting a car and going exploring in your own. It rained everyday for short periods of time. The best part was the street party they have every Friday! We even saw the guy who plays Black Panther there! Bring a lot of cash! They don’t accept Amex anywhere on that island and their ATMs don’t work very well. The locals are incredibly friendly! All around it was a good experience, just don’t know how good it will be for honeymoon.

Thank you so much for that! We have decided but we haven’t booked anything so nothing is set in stone yet. We want to book by the summer so more honest reviews from people will help us decide.

A quick story. You are assigned someone that takes care of you during your stay. One night my FH and I were getting intimate and she knocked on the door and asked if I was ok. Lol we hadn’t even done anything yet so it was super awkward.
