Save the dates are in....

KarenM, on November 21, 2013 at 6:49 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

Now, my question is, when do I send them out? My wedding isn't until November 7, 2014, but I have so many out of town guests, I really want to give them a reasonable heads up. i was thinking January. Any input?

We sent ours out at 12 months which I think was TOO early. I think Save the dates 9 months out with invites 3 months out for destination weddings is a good timeline.

We got ours today and will be sending this weekend. January sounds like a reasonable amount of time.

Hmmmm you probably could even wait to mail them out as late as March.

Thanks! I figure everyone will be getting lots of mail around the holidays too and I don't want it to get lost in the shuffle. Besides, it sends people to our website, which needs a TON of work. lol!

@CrtnJ, that's probably about right, but I know me, I won't be able to wait that long. Maybe February.
