Savannah Destination Wedding - where to start?!

Hello all!

My FH and I were planning a northern NJ wedding, but are now considering a destination wedding in Savannah, GA. We're both from NJ but spend a lot of time in Savannah since my FH is military and is based there. Can anyone recommend venues for about 50 people. Preferably in the downtown area with room accommodations in the facility or close by? Thanks! Any other recommendations would also be greatly appreciated!

We are planning a destination wedding in Charleston, so close by! With all the options available in that area, I would definitely recommend looking into a wedding coordinator, who can give you ideas for vendors that fit your budget and ideas. Good luck!

Wow, how lucky! Savannah is an amazing city! You could totally benefit from a coorindator or planner since you are so far away. Have you looked at restaurants?

I'm also planning a Savannah Georgia for next year!
There are so many places to choose from.
My indoor suggestion is perhaps the Mackey House.
My outdoor suggestion would be the Wormsloe Historical Site.

My friend had hers at the Mulberry Inn and it was beautiful! I my knowledge, it was fairly inclusive: coordinator, venue, food and drinks.
