Ring Preference

Kenisha, on December 11, 2018 at 11:50 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 342
I take my engagement ring 💍 off as soon as I come home from work.

I definitely can’t sleep with it on because I’m a wild sleeper and I end up scratching my face.

Do you keep your ring on all day? Do you wear it to work?

I pretty much only take it off to go to the gym, clean, or craft. I know I should take it off for sleeping because of all the potential for blanket snagging that could happen.

I wear my ring to work, but I work at a hospital so I take it off whenever I use hand sanitizer because it clouds the diamond dramatically. I try to wash my hands with soap and water instead of sanitizer as often as possible to minimize the number of times I have to take it off.

I usually take it off to wash dishes, shower, sleep, etc. so it ends up being off like 90% of the time I'm at home anyway.

I take it off when I sleep, do dishes, wash my hands, cook, do laundry, workout or hike/camp/hunt/fish outside! I bought silicone rings to wear if I can't wear it all day for some reason.

I leave it on to sleep, but take it off to shower, wash dishes, and camping. For camping I wear a silicone one.

I wear mine almost all of the time! I take it off when showering, doing dishes, going to the gym, or doing something where it’s clearly going to get dirty. I have silicone rings for the gym. I probably should take it off when I sleep but tired me is too lazy (and I’d probably forget to put it back on in the morning).

I take mine off to sleep because my mom said sheet snagging could damage the prongs. I take it off if I am cooking very hands on with something, doing dishes, heavy duty cleaning, showering, and when I am dealing with the barn animals sometimes. I did heavy cleaning to my sink and stove Sunday and laundry that I just forgot to put it on all day!

But Chandra, you’re always crafting! You need to sell your stuff on Etsy.

I’m fairly new to wearing any rings so still learning what works. I work for a rural vet clinic and am with large livestock a lot of the day and ride horses so finding what works and is safest. Currently I wear it all the time except showering and have taken it off a few times for work things or putting on lotion etc.

I’m sure by working in a hospital you’re constantly washing your hands. I work in a prison and I wash my hands all the time.

Silicone rings seem to be a good option. I might look into those. Thank you for the suggestion.

I take it off and I always put it in the same spot. I think I’ll look into silicone rings.

I use a silicone ring 90% of the time due to my work. I'll whip out my engagement ring when I go out to eat or something.

Yeah. I thought about doing that but then I felt bad that he spent all this money and I wouldn’t get to wear it that often.

I have mine on at all times unless we are working out. I wake up feeling to make sure it's there some nights lol

This is exactly why I didn’t want any gemstones

my general policy is to keep it in forever except the ceremony lol

if I had a stone SO would probably feel like he was pulling teeth to get me to wear it because I have a miles of hair for it to get impossibly knotted in and am also a crazy sleeper that would probably manage to put my own eye out lol

    Hi Kenisha
I wear mine all the time. Honestly I wear all my jewelry all the time. Earrings, rings and necklace. I am scared of misplacing it so I just leave it all on. 😊
