Registry - Can't live without

FutureMrsN, on June 30, 2017 at 10:51 AM Posted in Planning 0 24

What specific registry items are you really glad you've added? I get the whole" well you can upgrade your towels and get really nice plates" thing. I'm talking a steller item that may not have been thought of?

I know I've seen a similar thread before, but not in awhile and it was so helpful I'm curious if there are more suggestions out there.

It's not something I registered for- but I can't live without my garment steamer!

These were my favorites I got off my registry! I also really loved the BBB laundry basket I put on my registry

I know this is probably silly but we received a dust buster and I was so excited about it lol. Also, DH got a BBQ set and we also got a really nice standing fan. And also, a digital Bluetooth scale!

These are great Ladies, thank you!

@Celia - funny enough, I LOVE the state cutting boards. We have 3 on our wall, where we're each from and our state now. I have given these as gifts before too Smiley smile

I got a grill for my shower- and its super nice when we have a backyard patio! Not a need but we love grilling. I got a kitchen aid for Christmas and I still use it regularly!

@Choua, my dad got a charcoal grill as wedding gift and he STILL uses it nearly 35 years later so a grill is a totally great and useful gift!

A steam mop and a essential oil diffuser/humidifier!! I have a crappy diffuser but they help so much in the winter.

If you like wine, we registered for an electric wine opener/preserver from BBB and I LOVE it. Some of our other favorite items were a shark steam mop, food processor, and a nice luggage set that we took on the honeymoon. Also, if you have or registered for a Kitchen Aid mixer, we got an ice cream maker attachment for it, so cool!

If you buy food in bulk, I highly recommend a FoodSaver! It's definitely my most used wedding gift. DH uses a weed-whacker/trimmer that we registered for on Amazon the most

We registered for a vacuum specific for being known to pick up pet hair very well. Someone was so kind to get this for us and we used it to see if it worked--it does! It works wonders and would recommend it to anyone who has pets! Smiley smile

We added a roomba and surprisingly were gifted it. One of my favorite gifts. We also added a stainless steel pots and pans set and it's a close second for favorite. I use every single pot, pan, and lid on that set.

It's a tie between Instant Pot, food processor or cast iron pan. I love to cook and these have been on my wish list for a while. Smiley smile

Corina, a cool variation on that is the state flavored candles from Homesick.com. They are very cool.

This is super dumb but, if you cook a lot, a really nice colander,

I've been using the same cheap, plastic one for years and we registered for a really nice white enamel one at Crate and Barrel. It is GORGEOUS and makes me feel like a real cook, not just some idiot playing at trying to cook.

So, like I said, dumb but it's something I never thought I'd care about until I had it!

These suggestions are awesome! I have a few of these on the registries already, but I am getting so many more ideas from this thread. Thank you for sharing! @Celia, I will def look into those.

Once item I have on there, that was previously suggested is a turkey pan. You don't really need one until you do, but it would last a lifetime! I have also added a really nice stainless steel set of measuring spoons and cups. I love cooking and they will be a great replacement for my plastic ones!
