Reception

Brittanica, on August 27, 2012 at 9:19 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 2

My original decision was to have the wedding in the church and a small reception then for all the young people to leave and go to the club, but my aunt informed me that I should find a reception venue so that the two families get a chance to party together once their united. Is this a necessity? I know that it can and will be a wonderful memory for us and our families..

Its not required to have a "formal" reception, however like you said it can be nice and a wonderful memory.

I plan on doing my formal reception, having it end around 10ish and then the younger folk are doing an after party. So the families have a chance to mingle etc like a regular ol wedding etc and then party it up afterwards Smiley laugh

Thats around the time I plan to end it, having the wedding Sept. 14, 2013 @ 5:35pm and I guess the reception would be from 7-1030ish. And that would proceed, I set my budget at 2000 and I'm just a couple 100 shy of it, but if I pick a reception venue that would put us over by 400 and the location sets up, serves and cleans all for $500. Which is retry good for a reception venue.
