Question About Money Purse

R&J Salsa-Lovers, on August 11, 2010 at 11:37 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

Hi ladies, if Im having a gift table and giftcard box. Do I need a money purse? I was going to have a tiny little clutch with lipgloss, etc. at my table but no money or anything in it. Do I need to have a money purse if Im not going to have say a Dollar Dance. Should I expect people to walk up to us and give us money? or will they just put it in the box?

Vendors and Planners please give your input too.

Thanks

I've never heard of someone just walking up and giving you cash. You should be fine without it.

I've never heard of a money purse. I think the common thing people do are putting their monetary gifts in a card which is placed in the card box.

The money purse is usually for the bride to carry during the money dance so that people do not pin dollars to her dress. I'd say you don't need it. I am having the money dance and I'm not even getting one.
