Procrastinator...I'm starting to panic.

KarenM, on February 10, 2014 at 10:26 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

OMG. My officiant emailed me last week, and because she was asking me for information I didn't have, I didn't email her back. I'm waiting on tax returns to book the ceremony also, and the photographer, whom I've also left hanging. Am I the only idiot out there? So much stress.

Deep breaths. you have 9 months. my brother had a 7 month engagement, and it all worked out. luckily you are not peak season, so i think you will be ok booking things in this amount of time. you should definitely switch it into non-procrastination mode though! you got this!

You have a lot of time. Don't start worrying yet or it will be a long journey.

Thanks girls. It seems like every day, tomorrow is a good day to get it done, and then it doesn't. It's kind of my forte.

Yes. Lots of time. I need to panic lol. Everything in Italy is slow, slow getting back, slow planning... yet I am feeling rushed. Your good, try to relax and enjoy your process! Smiley smile

@Italy it's the same way in the Bahamas. It is like no one is on a time schedule and it has made me the same way. The other day I was like oh shit I need to finalize something. I send an e-mail and think I should have a response within a few hours and sometimes it is not until the next day. It does make me think that I need to take a lesson from these other countries and just relax.

@Rebekah, I have big friends in the Bahamas. Let me know what you need done. Thanks again for making me feel like I'm sane and not a total idiot.

Thanks Karen! I might have to take you up on that to get a few questions answered about some random things. Do any of them work in the wedding industry there? Just take it day by day. Don't stress because it is not worth it. I know that is easier said than done, lol.
