Processional Timing

Hello!

We are going to have a processional song for just the bridesmaids (2 of them) and myself the bride, without any stopping or fading. Our aisle will be about 7 rows long. I edited the song (it has pretty specific timing) to be cut down to 2 minutes 10 seconds and fades out nicely. Does that seem like too long for 3 of us to walk down? The walks will start around 0:15, 0:32, and 1:15. I'm just worried we would be standing there too long, but I think if we adjust my dress at the end it will be okay. Any thoughts?

How did u cut ur song down? We r wanting to do the same but not sure how to do it. We will be having the same issue and really wont be able to tell if the timing works until we have rehearsal.

So to be clear, you and your bridesmaids are walking down to the same song? I don't know why I'm confused about that, but something about the parenthesis is throwing me off.
I think it would be okay if you allow your officiant to tell your guests to stand up and give them some time to do so before you come in. That way you don't have to fuss with your dress as much.
If anything, you can try it. Measure out the length of your aisle and walk it out in your living room or something like that.

This is what the rehearsal is for, to nail down that timing. I think as long as everyone walks at a slow pace, your 2:10 minute song will be fine. Also, it is okay if there is a little waiting....I don't feel like anyone will get restless in that time frame. Do the procession, and the small amount of time left (if any) can be played then faded while you are standing up there...I'm trying to picture it in my head, and to me it doesn't seem awkward or anything.
