Pease help! Can't find this dress!

Kel, on October 9, 2015 at 2:39 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

Does anyone know who actually makes this dress or where I can buy it? It's not Vera Wang, it's not Maggie Sottero. Every website either brings me to a knock off company or someone's blog. This dress exists somewhere!

I'm not a rocket scientist, but is the designer printed on the picture? B-Ayliy?

Hello Raquel! It actually IS a Maggie Sottero Dress (or seems to be) called Amara Royale.

The initial dress is white http://www.weddingbycolor.com/crystalm17/-maggie-sottero--amara-royale-120202 but the red version is probably special ordered or dyed. Unfortunately - it does not seem to be in her current collection so you may have trouble finding it. Good luck!

Edit: Yes - I have edited this several times because I can't get the link to work properly.

SugarTango-Yes I thought it was Maggie Sottero as well, but a local bridal boutique called them directly and the dress is not theirs.

Cheryl-It's not B-ayili (or whatever) either. JJ house is a company that sells knock offs by using the original picture of the dress to lure people in. If you google red wedding dress you'll find about 5-6 different pictures (well they're the same picture) but they will have different names on the picture. Apparently a rocket scientist or some other genius will be needed to find this dress. Smiley sad

Bump is just to put your post to the top of the forum so people can see your post and reply Smiley smile

All I could find using the google image search was that is the Maggie Sottero Amara Royale in red. Maybe your boutique just doesn't carry it?

This is so aggravating. I'm going to the boutique in a few minutes and I'm going to show them the link you sent SugarTango. There's people in the comments section who say they purchased this dress! and one says they saw it on the Sottero web site. The comments are from 2010 but you'd think the company would know it's own dresses! No matter how old they are. Thank you!

@raquel- it could have been the way that the boutique asked, but honestly if they discontinued making the dress they may not have it in their computer system past a certain amount of years.
