So contrary to my other kinda whiney post, I have to say that I am so touched. My mom had a shower for me on Wednesday. She put on the invitation that I was doing a broach bouquet and to please bring me a pin. Every one did. Including my grandma who brought me a cameo I'd been eyeballing in her jewelry box since I was a little girl. My younger cousin gave me one out of her personal stash. My Aunt Rose gave me one with a rose in it.
I can't wait to get it all put together! I'm hoping to let my future children choose a pin from the bouquet when they are married for their something old (and yes that will include,if I have sons, my FDILS).
