NWR: Working frantically to save this dog's life! Can anyone help??? (Not just DFW area!) *UPDATE*

There is this sweet, sweet, sweet black lab puppy (less than a year, I think) that is at a shelter in Mesquite, Texas. He has a VERY short time left to live before he will be put down.

My godmother and my FMIL are working frantically to find him a forever home before his life is cut short. If there is ANYONE who would be willing to take him, whether you live in Texas or not, please let me know!!!! We will arrange transportation of him.

UPDATE: Turns out the puppy has Parvo. FMIL took him back to her vet and they are starting treatment. I THINK Andrea and FMIL decided it wouldn't be good to transport him due to his illness. My FMIL has decided to make him part of the family and his name is Packer! (They're HUGE Green Bay Packer fans)

    This breaks my heart, i wish i could take him but i have 2 labs and a puppy already, momma wouldn't be having that =( keep us updated, hopefully on good news!

    She can't for personal reasons. It's not that she doesn't rescue, though. Every dog she has had has been a rescue.

    Edit:

    In fact, she tried to take him home yesterday but they told her once she took him the rescues would move on to the next urgent animal and she can't afford to add another dog right now.

    I live in Ohio and rescued a dog and we had him transported to MS. It's a pit rescue, but you could try to explain the situation. I'm going to connected with you, if you need any help, just message me.

    Yes potentially. I would need to learn a little more info (mainly if he's kid/dog/cat friendly) and how we would figure out transportation.

    I am looking to get a dog this summer.. Just bought a new house.. And I'm a runner so I figured a lab would be a good running partner Smiley smile
