NWR Need Prayer (everyone can put request in too)

Mrs. Kommeren, on October 13, 2013 at 2:25 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 12

For the past month and 2 weeks, I was suspended from my job, due to some ugly accusations by one individual who was on probation. After a long dragged out meeting with HR, I have been waiting silently for a word on my termination. Well that day came with a letter. I love my job and have been on the job over 5yrs. And now I need prayer!! Even though I have been home, I have been trying to find some sort of employment to help with the finances, but nothing, since half these mediocre jobs require experience or degrees. I have tried to look into hotels and retail. I want to keep our wedding date and keep my job!! So as I fight to get my job back, I am asking for prayers and if anyone needs prayers too I will add you to my prayer list! Thanks in advance for listening!

Bitter bitches. I'm sorry that you're going through this. Work drama is the worst, and I hope you can get your job back! I can't believe they would terminate you over accusations and not solid proof.

    Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD,“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I had something similar happen to me eight months ago. I was working two jobs, and my second PT job became my first after I was forced out of my position. I don't have a Bachelor's like most jobs require either; only professional experience. It's been a tough road, but God has always provided. He will provide for you too. Just keep faithful in your prayer and maintaining your relationship with Him. He will send you something. Have you spoken with your pastor? Perhaps they can put the word out to your church family who may be looking for someone. You're in my prayers, and I will agree with you now that we will both find jobs and prosper...and keep our wedding dates. Smiley smile

If you truly believe you were wrongfully terminated, consult an attorney who specializes in wrongful terminations. You may not get your job back, but you could be financially compensated by your employer. Most of these attorneys will look at the merit of your case, and if they believe a law has been broken, they will take their fee from your award.

    Good luck.

Centerpiece has it right. Don't forget to file for unemployment benefits. You pay taxes, you've earned it!

And keep in mind that even if a job listing says it requires a bachelor's degree, it probably does not. They say that to weed out people who are easily dissuaded. I'm a project manager and my job requirements listed a degree, which I do not have.

    Good luck!

FH has been trying to find me an attorney. I less than 5 days to appeal, which I plan on doing. I plan on going to the Union rep tomorrow. I have been praying ever since this whole incident took place! I am so torn by the ugliness that has presented itself. I plan on fighting to the very end!!! Thanks ladies for the support. I will pray for all of you!

@ Centerpiece yes I plan on finding an attorney this week.
