NWR: Having a surprise 50th Bday party for my mom and....

Is it too late to send out invites for an October 26th surprise party or should I just say forget it this late in the game and text/call everyone? I have been so busy wedding planning that I am slacking on the party duties LOL ... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am SO totally off schedule!

I think invitations are better than texting/calling everyone. If you get them out this week (the sooner the better) you should still be okay.

I thought about doing them last week and didn't ... I am most definitely procastinating with this party.... I wish I weren't involved at all at this point LOL ... I have no freakin idea when I can get to the store and get them and as far as getting stamps and everyone's address.... UGH! PIA for sure .... I agree though, invites are best!

What about an e-vite? its a little more than a text or call but doesn't take as much time as a traditional invitation.

I also think actual invites are best, but could you get away with evites? They are not everyone's cup of tea, but at this point the sooner you get people to save the date the better
