NWR: Color Run

I did last year and it was a blast! Warning though, my white sports bra is still stained. I think I threw my socks away. I jumped in the shower when I got home and even my skin UNDER the shirt was colored. I had to scrub a little harder than usual but it all came off.

I did it in July with FH and a few other people. It was really fun, but the color really does get everywhere. My clothes came clean for the most part, but I bought cheap white clothes that I didn't care if they got stained. Where we did it there were a lot of people who did't run and just walked the whole time. I had a good time and would do it again.

I did Run or Dye which is essentially the same thing. I agree about the stuff not coming out completely- I had mesh shorts on and the underwear I was wearing underneath still has green stains. Most of it came out, though.

It's also annoying if you accidentally inhale it.

And I'm not sure if you're really into running... but most people end up walking it because it attracts people of all ages and stages of fitness- I was kinda mad that they didn't time our groups! I had to keep time myself. And don't forget to get something to keep your stuff in (or have someone hold it) because it's annoying when you're running you don't want to hold your phone, etc.

It was a blast, though.

Awesome, thanks ladies! If i do it I will definitely be buying cheap white clothes and wearing shoes I don't care about. I was thinking about buying a cheap veil too! Everyone I have talked to say it was a blast, so I definitely want to do it.

I'm not doing the Color Run but I want to do the Electric Run, I believe it's called, here in MD.

I hear that they are lots of fun.

just realize that most of them are for profit companies who sometimes try to claim they are for charity, but the charities get very little. if you're doing it for the experience, then great, but if you're doing it for charity purposes then do some research first!
