NWR: Can anyone tell me how to use Paint for Windows??

FutureMrsZottola, on June 4, 2014 at 2:56 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 5

I bought a graphix/clipart package and am trying to make an invitation for a baby shower for a friend but IDK how to use Paint and I need the finished file to be a jpeg so that I can upload and print through WalMart photo. I would really like to make the file in Word so that I can customize it a bit easier but, again, I don't know how to convert it then to a jpeg. Thanks gang!

What kind of file is it, now?

To open it in Paint, it has to be some type of readable picture file.

    Open the file

    Go to the "File" tab

    Click on "Save As"

The bottom drop-down menu in the "Save As" Dialog Box should allow you to click on either "jpeg" or "jpg" to save the file as.

    Done.

Can't you just save it as a jpg? Choose that option from the "file type" dropdown.

File > Save as > then under the "Save as type" dropdown menu, select jpg/jpeg

You could also convert a word doc to a pdf and open that in paint and save it as a jpg.

You can also send me your finished file and I'll do it for you. I'm leaving in 30 minutes though.

I have not even created the invite yet but I may take you up on that offer if I can't figure it out LOL. I just purchased the clipart package and started playing around with it. Thanks gang, I'll see what I can do!
