Non traditional wedding gown

Kelly, on September 25, 2017 at 11:06 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18

My wedding gown is the Hayley Paige Lumi gown in Blue Moon. The color is so distinct I am not sure what a good contrast color would be for my bridesmaids. I originally wanted my theme colors to be powder blue and gold (cinderella like) but do we think gold bridesmaid dresses make sense with the blue moon?!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Black would be stunning and would really make your dress pop. Similarly a deep navy or deep wine/eggplant. Even a really, really rich and dark hunter green? Ooooo...

Gold or silver or like a blush pink, that's a super pretty gown!

I think navy BM dresses would complement your dress perfectly!

I think that with this dress contrast would be important, so probably something darker or drastically lighter? Personally, I would go with a deep color like navy or purple, or maybe a pewter? Depending on the rest of your color scheme, gold could work.

I agree with previous posters. I would go darker with the BM dresses.

White or silver would be really cool with that dress. Otherwise I also think dark colors would look good.

WOW THAT DRESS! I love it!!!! And I agree, darker bridesmaids dresses. You can't go wrong with a classy black dress for the bridesmaids.

How about ivory or white for your bridesmaids? I think it'd be stunning

I SAW THAT DRESS! OMG I saw it when I was looking for a last minute dress! It's unbelievable!! I'm soooo jealous that you got it!

I'd say navy would be a nice contrasting color with your gown.

Beautiful gown! So dreamy! The color is more of a pewter tone right? If it was me, I would pick rose gold for my BMs to have more of a metallic vibe.
