    Hello there!

I'm a wedding planner in Southern California and I have done wedding for more than 10 years. In my experience I have had couples with only 1 or 2 attendants, so 4 is okay. I have also done weddings were the colors are ivory and gold and the men wore a black tux because the ivory was reserved for the bride, but when they try the tux on you will know if it feels right. And as for your last question about ceremony and reception venues, I have a huge listing on the many locations available but pricing depends on what features you want and how many guests you have, and the area you want it in. I hope I was helpful.

You can have odd numbers for your bridesmaids and groomsmen. You don't have to have the exact number for both. I think the men in those colours would be very nice, anything goes now- and it is not necessarily reserved colours for the bride. The cheapest place that I know of for weddings is either a legion or army navy club. They can be decorated very nicely.

The amount of Brides maids and groomsmen is solely up to you. You can have 1,2,7... it depends on the size you want. The men in those colors are great. As far as the cheapest place to hold you wedding & ceremony, I would suggest fire halls, places that you can provide your own caterer. I would also suggest checking for places that provide weddings on Thursdays, and Sundays. Those days are usually always at a much higher discounted rate. FYI the amount of guest you have at ou wedding directly affects the cost of your wedding. If your budget is $5000 & under you may want to consider 100 guests or less, or a cocktail reception with stations instead of a sitdown meal. These are just suggestions.

I would only suggest ivory tuxedo shirts for the gentlemen if your dress is also going to be ivory. If it's a white dress, then the groomsmens' shirts will all appear to look dirty or discolored in your pictures. Similarly, if your dress is ivory, you won't want the groomsmen wearing white shirts.

As for the size of your wedding party, that's entirely up to you. Best of luck!

You can have have however many people in your party that you want. The colors sound excellent both for the overall theme and the tuxs. About the reception hall: Since you're getting married on a Wednesday (two days after me, in fact!) the rental prices at local community centers should be very reasonable. My reception hall is only costing me $360 since I'm not marrying on the weekend. The park is also a cheap place to get married but you have to worry about the weather.

Hello, with regard to location what is your budget for the reception? This would include the location and food.

Gold and ivory are beautiul colors, the black tuxedos with ivory shirt and gold vest would be very sharp! Same as the men? Your reception site?
