I never saw myself as being a typical bride but now, after sitting thru thanksgiving and being drilled with all these questions about my wedding, I realize that the time has come....time to get started planning this thing!
So I got my venue...The Mansion at Maple Heights in Shadyside. Its funny because I had heard that the place was closing, but I went to see it anyway. The website looked so cool, I had to see it for myself..... It was incredible! I asked them about all that stuff and they explained what had happened. They aren't closing anytime soon...... I asked them for references and they gave me 5 people that got married there. Everyone had nothing but great things to say. I was still nervous, So I asked for more people, people that had dates for 2011, and everyone I talked to said good things too and that the planning was effortless working with their vendors.....
Besides the venue, I got nothing....My date is September 3....Ladies, what should I be doing right now?
