Ashley, on September 17, 2016 at 7:44 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18

Is anyone else in the New England are having an October wedding. I'm getting married 10.7.17 in NH and can't decide between long or shorts bridesmaid dresses!

IMO it depends on how formal you are going....I like the short dresses better but we are doing a formal venue with a formal everything so we did long dresses for BP as well as VIPs... Smiley smile hope that helps.

Long for what you are describing. Like someone else said long is considered more formal

Long! We are getting married 10/21 and the weather keeps toggling between 45 and 65! I know it's too soon to tell... But I think long is a great fall look. Plus my ceremony is outside. It also depends o your bridesmaids comfort level.

I'm Not in New England, but we are doing long because it's more formal and elegant looking.

I'm asking them to wear tea length. So like, below the knee/mid calf. I don't like how you almost never wear floor length dresses again. But that's personal preference.

We are doing long because the BM's want long. I'm not deciding for them. I want them to feel beautiful and be comfortable.

I'm the first weekend in November, in the warmer Southwest, but our weather is unpredictable just like New England fall! (I grew up there, I should know). I told my girls long skirts, closed-toe shoes.

Remember, they're not just dressing for the ceremony, but for the evening. And once the sun goes down it will be seriously chilly!

I did long for fall because the weather is cool even though my wedding is informal.
