They are only $10 for 50, and I got them during one of vistaprint's many sales so it was actually $5, but still ended up being $10 when you include shipping

Even though everyone LOVED the one of us and the red truck.... we DIY the design and used a Vistaprint Groupon to buy them as magnets!

We made ours in photoshop first then had them printed through vistaprint. They were about $60 for 80 cards and envelopes printed front and back with an upgraded finish. Here's the front and back.

@Surfergirl86 I love those save the dates! I also adore moo cards!

As I often say on here..I really loved using canva.com and picmonkey.com for designing our invites and save the dates and other paperwork. It made DIY not as awful as it could have been and free.

We are actually planning on using the Weddingwire wedding website as our save the date and emailing it out to our guests. We are just taking off some of the information as it is so early (wedding is just under a year away). This way we can put hyperlinks in the accommodation section as we are having our wedding in a small community and rooms book up quickly. It's not very traditional but neither are we.

They came in a couple days ago from VistaPrint! I seriously think I could have done them better myself, but my fw didn't want me to. We ordered 150 for under $100.

I got ours through Etsy and printed at Office Depot. Sent them as our Christmas cards.

We did them ourselves and sent them via email - total cost = $0!

We went to the place where he proposed with a tripod and remote control, took our own photo. I have a laser engraver so I etched our date onto a wood plank I had bought ages ago from the dollar store.

I used photoshop to add the text, then used mailchimp.com to send it out in a really pretty email. The benefit of using mailchimp is that it shows you who's opened the email and who hasnt (since some of our family isn't too email-focused, this was helpful so we could gently remind them to).

We also plan on sending our invitations via email. We'd rather save the dough for our "splurge" items and stationary doesn't matter much to either of us.
