Less Crowded Destinations in July?

July is a very heavily traveled month for travel, kids are out of school and many people take their vacations. A cruise would be overwhelming crowded. Hurricane season runs from June-November, I wouldn't say don't go to the Caribbean because there is only a chance for a hurricane, just get a good travel insurance to cover you.

Europe would be good to visit, it is still high season there as well.

I would suggest an adults-only resort if going to the Caribbean, that way you won't be surrounded by families and it wouldn't be a loud.

Europe during the summer - super crowded. I went to Corfu in July and it was super hot and super crowded. The upside, you get some amazing weather. the downside, well. Just about everything else. I was shoulder to shoulder with a billion other people in Rome - not fun.

We're hitting the Caribbean in July - also hot, but way less crowded because it's their off season. Yes, Hurricanes are a concern but eh.

We're honeymooning at Scrub Island in the BVI - it looks pretty decent but it's not all inclusive.

We went to Victoria Island in Canada at the end of June. Had a fabulous time.

What about a river cruise? At least the ship will only be 150-200. Europe would still be crowded. They normally have a planned excursions which will probably get you past the crowds.

If not Monograms is my go to company for a VIP experience. Who cares if it is busy they will get you right to the front. They have a great video on YouTube to show you want I am talking about.

You can also rent villa's around the world which our private. There are some cruise ships that have VIP areas only for Suite Guests which also makes it more private even with their own pool. Norwegian has the Haven. It's amazing!

Aim for adults only and smaller resorts. A good example, we stayed at Secrets Capri in Mexico which is a 5 star Adults only resort with only 290 rooms. That's small compared to resorts that have 500 rooms and up. With a smaller resort, even during busy season, you are guaranteed to have less people around, but just as many amenities to enjoy as the larger resorts.

How about Lake Tahoe? Lots of things to do in a gorgeous natural setting!

It's low season in Florida in July. I would say book Florida or the Caribbean and get travel insurance to cover you. The lower Caribbean islands don't get hit by hurricanes: St. Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, etc.
