It's the little things....

KarenM, on August 6, 2014 at 9:23 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

That are driving me crazy. Book the venue? Book the photographer? Book the florist...check, check and check...Print the addresses on the RSVP envelopes? Make the maps for the invites? Wrap the water bottles in our custom labels? Oh HELL no. Ugh, and so many other silly things I'm just terrified I'll forget. They don't show up on your WW checklist either. It lingers over my head like a black cloud and I am so sure I'm going to forget some stupid detail, I'm insane.

I agree it is the little things that are driving me nuts too...and I tend to love the details so I am more frantic about them. SO I added some things to my ww check list to remind me...you can insert your own things.

Thanks JC. I have done the hair trial, I think the church is taking care of the programs, but they need my divorce papers which I wrote for a month ago and still haven't received and I feel badly asking them for anything until I have those suckers in my hand. I have to print my escort cards, and shop for shoes with my MOH, and mostly figure out my frigging table names (not numbers) strung between two wine bottles. Don't ask. It has to happen. I also may need table runners at the very last second because I don't know what the venue has until the last weekend in August. MOH is coming into town on the 16th. Praying she reins me in.

I need to add all the details to my checklist too No. MN. What a great idea. Problem is that I'm already behind on the standard list. Yowza. I was so ahead of the game for awhile, now I'm driving behind the eight ball.

Yah I remember this. I had a checklist on my phone when things like this would pop into my head. Honestly these things didn't matter in the end. We got married and love being together

Y'know what Sandra? That is awesome advice. I am trying not to make myself crazy. I will do it anyway, because that's my nature. I'm not worried about placing the bride and groom cardinals on a perch in the envelope birdcage. Okay..well, this bothers me a little bit.

The little things bothered me so much more than the big things. I think I'll feel so much better tomorrow when I pass them off to my venue and they're out of my hands.
