Last October, FH and I asked our bridal party to be in the wedding. Shortly after, one of the groomsmen decided that his priorities weren't his girlfriend or daughter, but rather other extra curricular activities. We weren't sure we wanted him involved anymore, but at the same time, we weren't going to ask him to step down. Today, his dad had a stroke, meaning he has to drive 10 hours home tonight to be with him. So he won't be at the wedding. Last minute problem solving and my brother will act as a groomsman and an usher. We all think it's the best choice.
I just hope his dad is okay and that he makes his family a priority more than he has been. 3, almost 2, more days to go.
