Is june 2018 too early to plan?

I don't think it's too early if you're planning for June 2018. Just remember, no venue means no date. I'm confused on your comment about the bridal party. If you mean it's too early to start asking, you're definitely correct. You can start looking at other major vendors though (photographer, videographer if you're planning to have one, DJ, so on). A year and a half is plenty of time to do the actual planning of a wedding. If you're stressed about the finance portion of it, either cut your guest list or push the wedding back farther to allow yourself more time to save and properly host your guests.

Bridal party, just trying to make it work with everyone, we have 10 on each side 7 of which is family.

Yea a lot of places we wanted were booked for the dates we wanted.

And our photographer was booked on the dates we thought about.

We are opening another addition to our restaurant and money is tight right now. But it's just a lot going on. Takes away from the excitement of being engaged

We're getting married November of 2018, and our venue is completely booked until the 2nd weekend of that month. Actually, all of the venues we looked at were booked that far in advance. I think now is a great time to start looking around and thinking of some solid ideas.

I have a June 2018 date, and I've booked my venue, DJ, and photographer. So I would say it isn't too early to start. Also depends where you live, since some places just book so fast in advance. I booked my venue back in August, and they only had two Saturdays in June left at that time, so I snagged one!

I'm August 2018 and have already booked my venue, dj, photographer, catering and coordinators. Not too early at all..going dress searching next month. 2018 will be here before you know it. Get to planning!!
