Invitation ideas

Kendra, on April 7, 2017 at 1:43 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

Open to suggestions on wedding invitations, I'm super creative when it comes to stuff like this but I want to go the most economical route. Would it be cheaper to get them done or do one myself and get them printed and cut somewhere? What did you guys do?

I'm making my own on the cricut. i browsed pinterest for ideas I liked that I could easily recreate and am now currently buying every Michael's in the tristate area out of their yellow, blue & gray paper! I didn't compare to if we ordered them though, so I am unsure if we are saving money on this route. I just wanted to do this for a personal touch.

I think the cheapest way to go from what I've seen is to buy a design from Etsy ($25-$50) and then upload it to Vistaprint to print it. Vistaprint is always running 40-50% off sales.

I ordered my invites, RSVP cards, place cards, and envelopes for 150 guests from Vista Print for under $100.00 when they had their 50% off sale going on a couple of weeks ago.

I designed my own (I have experience and parents that have both worked in the design field) and got them printed at a local print shop my mom used to work at. It was quite a bit cheaper than vistaprint for me, but that probably depends on what's local for you too.
