Hi Everyone!
So I never bothered to introduce myself before... but I also just changed my display name so that it was more unique (from Amanda to Amanda-Kiora). FH and I have been dating for over 7 years and are getting married the day after our 8th anniversary (so that it's on a Saturday). I think we'll keep celebrating on the 19th, even though our wedding date is on the 20th! We both live and work in Alberta, and he'll be moving in with me after the wedding!
I love DIY... Kind of obsessed really. Making my own bouquets, centre-pieces (getting a friend to help with origami), wedding cake (painted fondant), decor, chair-ties, invitation suite. Our wedding "theme" is Chinese-Scottish, and our colours are from the Muted Modern Red Robertson tartan (Burgundy, emerald/forest, Navy/Royal).
So excited!!!
My dress is from China (Light in the Box) for $600 incl duties/tax and the veil (not pictured). It worked out well for me anyway
