Instead of a First Look, I'm thinking of having a "secret Meeting"

My fiance and I don't want him to see me in my dress, veil, and h/m before I walk down the aisle. A first look is out, but I love the thought of privately seeing one another before all of the h/m, photos, videos, guests, etc. get started. We are one another's' support and partner in all things. I want a 10-minute secret meeting somewhere that is just for us. Hugs, kisses, and shared excitement about this step in our journey together. Then we go back to our wedding parties and families to start the wedding prep.

I'd love some thoughts and opinions from fellow brides. It's not traditional, but I like the thought of sneaking away to meet each other. It feels very romantic.❤️

I love this It wont work for us as we will be getting ready almost 40mins from eachother, but I would totally do it if we could!

If that's what you want, go for it! We won't be seeing each other until I start to walk, but I do plan on "meeting" him on opposite sides of a door for a quick talk. Something like this..

The "first touch" idea is very special, but I think I really want those hugs and kisses. I want to see his face because his love shows when he looks at me. I don't want cameras there. Just our own moment of joy before we are married.

We didn’t stick to the tradition of not seeing each other until the wedding. We accidentally ran into each other in the hotel lobby so just went with it and saw each other a few more times until I started my hair and makeup - then we didn’t see each other until the first look. You do you

That is such a great idea... I might have to steal it (Lol) cause like you I don't want the first look, but I would love a few minutes just me and him before everything. I feel like I am going to need to see him before everything gets started to keep me calm. He's my best friend.... Thank you for this TERRIFIC suggestion....

We’re staying in the hotel together the night before so we’ll see each other when we wake up and before we go our separate ways to get ready. We won’t see each other again until I walk down the aisle.
