Congratulations! You're not alone; venues typically book a year or more in advance, especially during peak wedding season. You'll find that nobody will be as excited as you are about your wedding, but this is a good place to let it all out!

You can absolutely get started planning!! Maybe try to make sure you talk about other things sometimes, but for a little while most people will understand. Congrats!

Congrats! Get the budget and guest list going before doing too much else. It's definitely exciting!

You're totally fine to plan already. I have so much planned on spreadsheets already that it isn't even funny. That's also helped me determine the budget and guestlist possibilities. I'd rather plan as much now so I know exactly what needs to be paid for and when. It also makes it slightly easier to step away if something starts to stress me out.

That's just over a year away - definitely not too soon to start planning. A lot of venues and vendors get booked more than a year in advance.

I have a policy of not talking about my wedding unless asked; of course, convos with FH don't count.

Congrats!!!!!! Its ok to be excited. No one else will be as excited for you! I get the side eye from my coworkers every time I look up a dress or something to do with a wedding!!! LOL oh well, you can't please everyone.

Congrats! That's why I'm on WW. It helps me that 4 of my coworkers are also engaged so we talk weddings all the time, it's fun to hear about everyone's planning

FH proposed to me a week and a half ago. We are closing on our house in a week and a half and decided to not plan anything yet. Yet I'm already doing the exact same thing. FH rolls his eyes every time I bring anything up. *sigh* we are in the same boat sister!

Congrats! My wedding is July too next year I got engaged this past December and it's only up until I booked the major things I calmed down a little lol not going to lie it gets really stressful planning and with everyone putting their opinions, kind of caused arguments for me at one point but all is good now and I'm enjoying the rest of wedding planning so far
