i want to do everything myself but should i

I am already married. But we are finally having our wedding we didn't get to have on our 10 year anniversary. However our wedding isnt until 2020. But I wanted to start planning earlier. I also want to do everything my self except for making my wedding dress witch I already have. I and haven't worn it yet. I feel like it would be cheaper plus I am very crafty and creative. Should i even attempt this task or let someone else do it? My cousins do have a wedding planner business. But I just want to do it my self. What are your thoughts or advice?

Hi Marcia! That's great that you're so crafty and creative! What in particular are you thinking of DIYing? Depending on how big of a project it is will help you decide if it's better to DIY or buy/hire a professional.

Since you have so much time, I'd start doing some stuff now and see how you like it! If you enjoy doing it, I'd just keep doing it all yourself.

It's absolutely worth attempting. I did a lot of things myself and ended up saving quite a bit of money. I would suggest having some help though. If I had asked for help sooner I wouldn't have been rushing as much as I was.
