Super March 2012

I used to be a procrastinator, until I started planning my wedding.

I have never been so proactive in my 27 years, and dang it feels good! Smiley smile

Met with our photographer last night, and that's another thing I'm able to check off the list because we're hiring her. For $2350, we are getting an engagement session (in Sedona, which is two years away AND she's not charging us travel fees), 8 hours of shooting for the wedding, all pictures on a cd w/copyright approval, a wedding album w/200 pictures, and online slideshows set to music of the engagement and wedding pictures. She's also throwing in either an additional hour of photography or another album since we are getting married on a Friday. I feel like I got the bargain of a lifetime!

So with 10 months to go I have secured our venues, food/bar (just have to pick the menu in Sept.), rings, dj, officiant, dress, photographer, our wedding party, and STDs. My mom cannot believe it. Any other former procrastinators out there? Smiley smile

    Who's your photographer?

I wasn't really a procrastinator, but this wedding sure has got me going at an even fast pace of planning things!!

@Jen: Jacqueline Hanna. She is awesome! Check out her webpage @ jacquelinehanna.com. Smiley smile We went with the comprehensive package and are paying in full so we get a 10% discount.

Her prices are BY FAR the lowest for the amazing quality she produces. Trust me, I did a ton of research before picking her.

I am a procrastinator as well. I don't have anything but my venue which does the catering, I have my decorator, my cake and I know what I want my centerpieces to look like but that is it. I met with a photographer a few weeks ago and I just met with another last night and I still cant choose. I am afraid of picking the wrong vendor for everything. Im lost but good for you and your progress.

@Vanessa - I was afraid of picking my vendors initially, but then I realized once I booked them I was way less stressed. Trust me, I agonized over which venue to book for months. Once we booked it, it was like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Go with your gut! Smiley smile

@Torie - I'll cross my fingers for you that the officiant's costs aren't too high. Ours is free, because a friend of ours is marrying us. So, we really lucked out there. Smiley smile
