Just Said Yes August 2018

i have no clues where to begin!

Swapna, on May 26, 2018 at 3:56 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

So my boyfriend just proposed to me a week back and we have been having the wedding discussions..

August seems to be the suggestion for the wedding..

I live in Dubai and plan to get married in India..

I am not quite sure where to start in terms of the bridal preparation..

What should a bride to be doing 3 mnths before the wedding to prep herself to look like the bride!?!

Considering that am gonna be there in India just days before the wedding, I do not have time for makeup trials or any follow up sessions for be it skin care or make up..

How do I handle this?Any suggestions folks?

I’m less than 3 months away from my wedding, so I’m trying to stay focused on my mental and physical health as much as possible, seeing that affects my skin and metabolism. Try to stay relaxed....I know it’s hard, but try yoga or meditation to alleviate any stress.. Go for a walk/run each day. Make sure you set time aside for yourself. Practice some hair styles and make up that you like on your own. I know many brides who do that all themselves. If you can get some manicures/pedicures. Don’t know what your skin is like and what prepping it needs, but can always see a dermatologist and they can give medication. As far as diet, I just completed something called the shred10 diet, drinking smoothies for 2 meals, and no gluten, diary (eggs okay), alcohol, caffeine, processed foods, and refined sugar for 10 days (you can have meat). My skin looks awesome and I became leaner in my body, so ultimately I lost some weight. Hope some of this helps! Good luck!

Stay well hydrated and do your best to get rest. Also healthy balanced diet and some exercise as Lisa posted!

I'm also 3 months away from my wedding, I've been drinking a ton of water, staying on top of my skin care routine and exercising. I wouldn't stress too much about not having a hair and makeup trial but I would start looking online to see what type of hair and makeup you want.

I too am 3 months away and just as the others stated, trying to stay stress free, drinking a lot of water, trying to stay slim to fit in my dress and eating healthy! Congratulations to you all on your day. Mines is August 18th.

I'd basically get everything done, as fast as you can. Start with budget & guest list, then venue & date. Then send out invites. After invites are out, you can do all the vendors. For me, I'm getting a facial once a month prior to the wedding. I'm also getting my hair trimmed 1 month before, and using hair masks at home once every two weeks! For everyday skin care, I do a cleanser, toner, lotion & SPF every morning then cleanser, toner, serum, regular lotion at night. I'll use at home masks if I notice a breakout or super dry skin.
