Hi ladies! My FH and I would like a week long honeymoon. We were thinking Punta Cana but I feel there are a lot of people that go and travel there. I'd like to try out the Virgin Islands. I've been to St. Maarten so I'd like to go somewhere different! Our budget is $4,000 which would include airfare, hotel, and food. We would like to stay at an all inclusive oceanfront resort. We are also wanting to do some excursions!

If you're asking for Caribbean suggestions, we went to Aruba for a week and loved it. Very relaxing and there are plenty of all-inclusives to choose from there.

Islands, typically, are going to be more expensive to get to than Mexico. Check out Travelzoo.com for great deals. Are you open at all to cruises? My FH and I went on a Celebrity Cruise last year to Barbados, Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. We got the alcohol package, booked 3 excursions, and flew from LA to Puerto Rico (that's where the cruise leaves from) all for under $4,000. I would definitely recommend it!!

We did 6 nights adults only all-inclusive in Punta Cana for under $3,000. That included direct flights, transfers to had from airport, trip insurance and checked luggage. We loved Punta Cana. You can definitely do a week for under $4,000.
