HELP!!! I Need Shoes for my Bridesmaids...

Shantrell, on June 2, 2012 at 10:59 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

I need help! I am getting married outside in September and I want my bridesmaids to be comfortable. The dresses are short and flowy (see pictures below. they are not in these colors). I want some cute silver stilettos but I am scared that the shoe may sink in the grass as the girls are walking down the aisle and standing up at the alter. I also plan to have the aisle runner already out instead of taking the time during the wedding to roll it out. This may also be a problem with the heels. For an alternative, I was looking at some cute sandals with jewels but I am afraid that it will not look right. What should I do?

I would tell them to find silver shoes on their own. See this thread:

And then check out something like this, it helps keep your heel from sinking into the grass:

The starlettos (we used a different brand, but same thing) are AWESOME! Wore them as a BM last weekend. They don't help much with sinking in the grass, but man oh man, they made wearing stilettos all day SO much more manageable!

Thanks Maggie for being honest about the starlettos. I was wondering if they actually worked.

Maggie, what's the other brand?......I know I've seen them but I can't remember! They look more like little caps, they're not the star shape....

I agree, it's like wearing a cushion under the heel.

Here they are. I've tried both and they actually worked for me. They're not going to be perfect, especially in soft/wet grass, but they help a lot IMO.

    Good luck.

I posted this before, Unforgettablemoments.com these shoes are being discontinued and I think you missed bogo, but they are marked way down if they still have your sizes. Free shipping too!

I may need some of those starlettos, please post the other brand so I can compare them! So excited, I have been practicing walking in my shoes because I don't want to fall on my face going down the aisle, lol!!!
