Dedicated March 2013

Help! I need help with choosing recessional music - playing when you leaving the altar. Any ideas?

Victoria, on February 28, 2013 at 2:13 PM Posted in Planning 0 19

This is the music played at the end of the Ceremony after the newlyweds are introduced for the first time. Typically it's upbeat music celebrating the fact you're now married!

I listened through all DJ suggestions and didn't like any of them. What is yours?

Well, i love Queen, and i didn't want the day to be too serious. also wanted a song that was fun to strut our stuff to. so we entered to Another One Bites the Dust, then our bridal party followed to Best Friend.

    yay Queen!

My FH is Mexican, so we are walking out to a mariachi band! Boy will my family be surprised. You should choose a song that represents you two as a couple or something that y'all are into. For example, my coworker's daughter walked out to the stars wars theme song.

I love these challenges. Victoria... have you decided whether you want something traditional? Movie theme? Top 40?

If you can at least give me an idea of what you would prefer, I'm sure I can come up with something that will work for you.

We are walking out to Deeper than the Holler by Randy Travis, it was my Aunt's favorite song, she was my second mom and helped raise me, she has passed away so it is also a kinda tribute to her.

To help dry up the tears and to add a little laughter I thought about using the hook to Heavy D "now that we found love what are we gonna do with it"

Yea FH wants the imperial march .... I shot that down right away but recently have been thinking that maybe I'll surprise him and do it. I know all of our friends/family would know it right away and would more than likely get a kick out of it.
