Jessica, on April 24, 2018 at 2:31 PM Posted in Planning 0 7
I’m having a hard time with how much time I should have for taking all the family photos, wedding party and photos of just the bride and groom before the actual ceremony begins. Any suggestions would be appreciated from people that were doing this same thing would be great!

Your photographer should be able to help you with this! mine gave us an hour for first look/ bride and groom. and then 30 minutes for family formals and bridal party formals!

We had 30 minutes for our first look and about 2 hours for all the other pictures. Your photographer will let you know how much time they'll need based on their experience.

My photographer gave me this timeline. She asked what time we needed to be ready to go to the ceremony site by, and went from there.

I am doing an hour for first look, individual, couple photos and photos with our two dogs. Then our immediate families will show up and we have 45 minutes for those photos (our families are quite small). This is at a park then we will drive to the venue have another 15 or minutes of couple photos at the venue.

I have from 1-3:45 for all my photos and my photographer included a 30 min break... I’m telling family to get there early (false time) so we aren’t waiting Smiley smile she said you need less time than you think.. I care mostly about the just us photos and family photos.. any that might get missed we will just do after the ceremony quick

Ok thank you all! I think 3 hours should be plenty of time after hearing all your comments Smiley smile
